Underslung Overhead Bridge Cranes

This type of overhead crane hangs from the underside of fixed runway rails, hence the term underslung. The runway rails are typically supported by a roof structure or alternatively can have their own support structure extending down to the floor below. This crane design is predominantly configured as single girder crane and can be supplied with wire rope or chain hoists to lift the load.

•Two speed motorised travel and traverse motions

•Variable speed travel and traverse. This gives the crane smoother take off and stopping for:

- Reduced load swing, making the crane safer to use for even inexperienced operators

-Reduced stress on the crane structure, wheels and driveline components meaning that the

crane will last longer, require less maintenance and cost significantly less to run

•A choice of either Verlinde Wire Rope or GEN Chain Hoist
